A Consuming Fire - Week 2 // March 1, 2026

This week we followed up with another sermon in the series, “A Consuming Fire”, in which we are looking through various passages and books within Scripture all with a goal of being open to God our Refiner. “May we experience a purifying and indwelling of the consuming fire of God.” A purifying that changes us and an indwelling that empowers us.

Notes from Sunday’s Sermon:

  • The Psalmist is longing for “home”.

  • In the presence of God is a joy like no other.

  • In the journey, with all its ups and downs, is abundant joy.

  • Once you have constant access to something it can become undervalued no matter how valuable it actually is.

  • Do we ache for God like that?
